It’s very close to Yosemite Entrance and gorgeous view of the Merced River. Bromelio at the front desk was very nice and helpful with our reservation.

The location was peaceful, and the view of the river was great! I liked the check in and out process via the Cedar Lodge, it was very easy.
Featuring an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, this Cedar Lodge is a 5-minute drive from the entrance of Yosemite National Park. The on-site restaurant is open for dinner daily.

The stairs and pathways were not shoveled, both Me and My Wife fell into snow banks and the code did not work! We never made it into the room , had to drive 59 miles to find a room at 3:00 am🥴

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to talk about this lovely place and amazing stay. Location was perfect, the house was super comfortable, in perfect condition and spotless. Hopefully we’ll be back !! Absolutely recommended.
Excellent location. Restaurant and Pizza Parlor on site.

The place had Tesla fast charging stations.
The place had Tesla fast charging stations. The property was old but clean. The carpet could use a deep clean. The room had a balcony with a table and some chairs great for drinking with friends or just hang out and relax while looking out the river.
The room was really big and spacious with a ref, stove top, coffee maker and some cooking and serving utensils.
Actually the property was decent but with no cellular coverage (Tmobile), wifi should have been readily available. Here you have to pay through a 3rd party. Sad! So it’s not great for virtual meetings and stuff.

The location and staff were excellent!!
The location and staff were excellent!! The room was clean, the amenities were great as well, the only problem was our TV. Maintenance couldn’t fix it so they gave us the internet for the TV the first night to remedy the situation which was amazing but not the second night which put a damper on things with no Tv to relax the second night.

The hotel location was good and near to Yosemite.
The hotel location was good and near to Yosemite. The room was good. The Pizza restaurant was good.
We didn't like having to book room service (towels etc and coffee for room) on a daily basis. In our opinion is a throwback to Covid pandemic days, as a management policy to save money not support the customer.

Close to Yosemite park entrance, just a short drive.
Close to Yosemite park entrance, just a short drive. Mildly wild river behind the hotel is great. We ate mostly in Yosemite park (very nice dinner at Yosemite Valley Lodge Mountain Dining Room and a great lunch at Ahwahnee hotel bar).

Stunning location with great views.
Stunning location with great views. Times quoted for fitness room and swimming opening did not happen. Rooms spacious with good facilities but all looked rather shabby and dated. Rooms need a makeover. Balcony view was amazing.
It was a great value with the quality evening time. In November, it’s getting dark early, so parents face a problem: how to keep kiddos entertained without much hassle and expense. In Cedar lodge, they have an indoor pool and a game room with table tennis, board games, and more. Truth be told, I had some hard time trying to keep them outside, as they were eager to go back to the hotel’s game room!
And the location is very close to Yosemite national park.
Also, I liked the lighting around the outdoor pool and the area next to the river
Clean, basic, easy check-in at Cedar Lodge. Hot tub is fantastic. Festoon lights are a nice touch. One car space.
Located OUTSIDE Yosemite NP, it can be a quick 30 minute drive to the entry gate if you leave early each day (between 6am & 8am). One day we left at 10.15am and it took a full 3 hours in a crawling queue of traffic just to reach the park gate. This was late May, Memorial Day weekend.
Big fridge/freezer.
Very pleased with location (just 6 miles from Yosemite NP) and room. Frankly, we don't understand why some had given this hotel low marks. Our room was clean, had plenty of space, a small fridge, good beer on tap at the bar. We're from SoCal and are so glad we selected Cedar Lodge (on CA 140) rather than any hotel at the southern (CA 41) entrance. This saved hours of driving time! What's not to like?
Our room was facing to the river and it was amazing. The room has everything you need, when you plan on going to Yosemite National Park. Its the closest to Lodge outside the park. There are also 3 pools available to use and a small shop to buy something to eat and drink and a restaurant. Would definitely go there again.
This property is in a great location for Yosemite National Park. The room was clean and comfortable. Food in the bar was absolutely fine. There is a little shop off the reception where you can get simple groceries. Or there is another store about 4 miles up the road towards the park. You can get fuel there too.
Close to the Yosemite National Park. It’s about 20 mins drive to the entrance. It has a pool and a game room which are good for kids. it also has a gift shop + grocery store which opens till late at night. It’s very convenient if you came back in the evening and wanted to do some shopping.
Location. The hotel is really close to some of the most popular hikes and trails at Yosemite National Park. It also has a nice view of the river if you get a river view room. They say the other option is a mountain view room, but really that means it is facing the highway.
Room had a balcony with a nice view of the river that runs out of Yosemite and right behind the hotel. They have 2 restaurants on site, and a pretty well stocked convenience store in the lobby area. This is important because you are miles away from anything else.
This is the nearest hotel to the Yosemite park entrance, so that's a big plus.
Also, the balcony is right above the Merced river, great view of the river, and very nice to hear the sound of water from the room.
The rooms are very large.
The location is wonderful. This is as close as you can get to Yosemite without staying in the park. Unfortunately, location is the only good thing about this hotel.
Perfect location for quick access to Yosemite National Park. Room was perfect with the bed being the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in for a hotel room.
Great location for exploring Yosemite, YARTS bus into park stops at hotel. Lovely outdoor areas with bbq and seating areas, especially the creek opposite.
